My research explores the effects of labor and healthcare regulations, the political economy of government policies, the causes of discrimination in various contexts, among other topics. I primarily rely on price theory, field experiments and causal inference methods to examine policy-relevant questions. I have published in journals such as the Journal of Law & Economics, the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management, Public Choice, and the Southern Economic Journal.
